Negligent Pets

The boy and the girl have been negligent pets. They haven't let me use the camera all weekend. I think I'll teach them not to anger me by eating the bill for the car.

sneak attack

I climbed on the girl's desk while they weren't watching. I was going to teach that monkey a lesson, then the boy came in and tattled on me to the girl because I was standing on her desk. He'd better watch out or I'll teach him a lesson.

Oh, by the way, I'm grounded. Whatever that means.

Busy 'bug

The girl said I couldn't blog all weekend because she's going to be making with zombies. I had to get busy so I could blog it all today.

The girl eats some tasty Vinta crakers. Last night I wanted some. I had to tell her about it. She finally relented and gave me a cracker.

The boy's hands are my favorite chew toys. He's good to bite. I really like to bite his hands when he's sleeping.

The girl got a Dodgers rally monkey last summer. He's been sitting on her desk at home and acting superior. She doesn't let me sit on her desk. When the rest of the family was sleeping, I taught that rally monkey a lesson. I was thrashing him around in the bedroom when the girl woke up and took him away. He's back on the desk smirking at me. He's so lucky that they locked the door to their office. I'm plotting my revenge now.

Monkeydoodle

I got a new monkey last night. I didn't take this one from the monkey chain. The girl brought it back for me from Old Navy. Since I already have a Doodlemonkey, this one is Monkeydoodle. He was good to make a game with. I haven't managed to get rid of his pesky eyes yet.

Break Time

Yesterday I made a lot of games when the boy and the girl came home. I chewed on jugs and ran around with stuffed puppies and barked at Pipey. I also helped the girl organize some papers by walking across the ones that I didn't think were important. I was pretty tired out, so I curled up on the couch and made cute faces while the rest of the family watched Battlestar Galactica.

Peaches!

I love peaches. I always have. They taste pretty good, especially when it's hot. The boy gave us a mushy peach. I worked on the pit. Peach pits are good for games.

Wet T-Shirt Contest

The girl decided it was so hot so we should have a wet T-shirt contest yesterday. I wasn't wearing a T-shirt, so I obviously didn't win. I really don't like being hosed. I like seeing Pipey get hosed, but I don't like being hosed.

Hot Dog

Yesterday it was really hot. The boy spent the evening typing. The girl was on the couch with me. She said we were going to do some pilates (I like pilates) but it was too hot. I could barely stay awake to watch something called "Miami Vice" on television.

Little Giraffe

A long time ago, the girl used to call me the little giraffe. We have this Costa Rican tree in our front yard, and when I was a puppy I used to eat the fruits off the ground. The girl thought it would be funny to hold me up to eat the fruits right off the tree. The fruits tasted a lot better before they fell to the sidewalk and got stepped on, although I still liked them after they dried up and they were crunchy. I was very tiny in this picture.

Bite the Monkey

I have about seven monkey toys. The girl had a chain of monkeys in the music room so I picked monkeys from there. She bought me a Doodlemonkey with a squeaker that says "doodle" when I bite it. He doesn't have hard eyes. I like to pull off the hard eyes and hard noses from the monkeys. It was tough but I managed to pull out one of his soft eyes and pulled out some of the fluff in his head. It was pretty good.

Advice

I got some advice from a comment to get my own toothbrush so I don't get girl germs. I took the girl's spare toothbrush that she takes in her handbag. The only problem I had was that I couldn't reach the toothpaste. Oh, and the bristles were so tasty I swallowed them.

Das Boot

The girl left some boots in the bathroom from a fight she had with zombies last year. The boy said she had too many brown boots anyway so I could have these. They smell pretty good.

Abandoned Puppy

The boy and the girl left really early yesterday morning. The girl had a suitcase. She's been leaving with a suitcase a lot lately, but she usually brings everything back at the end of the day. I heard them talk about how the power might go out because of the heat so they turned off the TV (!) and left me and Pipey with a radio. The house was so dark when they left, and it was still bedtime. When they came back I tried to nap with them, but the boy got up off the couch and abandoned me. The only saving grace was that I got to eat some steak for dinner.

Ice Ice Baby

The girl shot a little movie of me in the kitchen yesterday. You can see how photogenic I am.

Good Oral Hygiene

The girl likes to brush her teeth a lot. She's crazy about teeth. She took pictures of my baby fangs and kept putting her fingers in my mouth to check my teeth. She even bought me my own toothbrush but I chewed it up and the boy threw it away. That's okay because the girl doesn't mind sharing her toothbrush with me.

Happy Birthday to Pipey

Piper's birthday is today. The boy and the girl gave her a pink shirt with fun writing on it. They should've gotten her a Doodlebug shirt. The shirt would look better on me, but my clothes are from the Gap while I heard them say they bought her shirt at the drug store for $3. Who do you think is the favorite?

My Blog About "Lost"

The girl and the boy have been watching "Lost" most of the week. I watched some of it. I learned that you have to drink a lot of bottled water. I think if I drink only bottled water, I'll get J.J. Abrams to name a show after me.

Toe Photography

I tried my paw at photography with the girl's phone. I think this shows I have a serious side, but my crazy eye makes me seem sort of menacing. Maybe this picture will get me a job as a superhero.

Framed!

This really pissed me off.

Naptime for Dogs!

Okay, I know I said I hate it when they take pictures of me sleeping, but this one show Pipey sleeping as well.

Busy Weekend

The girl and the boy stayed home most of the weekend. They owed it to me after being gone all night Friday. At least they brought home Fred 62 for us.

I had a couple naps on the girl. I wish they wouldn't take pictures of me while I'm sleeping. I don't do it to them.

I also got Kong time. The girl put this spray cheese in my Kong. It tasted really good. Pipey abandoned her Kong so I took it, even though it's pretty big and heavy.

Guitar Time!

Tonight the boy played his guitar. The guitar case looked very threatening so I had to show it who was boss. I'm the boss, if you didn't guess already.

TV Education

I was watching Grey's Anatomy last night and decided I could be a doctor. I've heard that sometimes doctors in back alleys use hangers. So I found one and tried my skills.

Slipper Attack!

Last night I was watching TV when the boy's slipper tried to attack the family. I caught it and showed it who's boss.

Wrastlin'

Yesterday was wrastlin' day. I pulled down one of the girl's stuffed dalmatians. I picked the one with the ears that stand up like mine. Mmm. Wrastlin' is fun.

Welcome!

Welcome to the Doodlebug's blog. I'll be hosting and posting for her since she is a dog.

Ow. Don't bite me for saying that.

Anyway, follow the Doodlebug's adventures here!

Love,
Pamela
