The boy wouldn't let me tell the machine at McDonald's what I wanted so I tried to bark it to the lady at the window and the car behind us. I don't think they listened because I got apples in my Happy Meal instead of fries.
Friday was my birthday. The girl thought it was a good idea to pile me, the boy and Pipey into the car. I don't like riding in the car. I barked at all the other cars, drivers, bicycles, pedestrians, people on the bus and anything else I could. These are photos from the four block drive to McDonalds.
Autumn is strange here. One week it's so hot that the hills are alive with fire. The next week it's so cold that you have to curl up behind someone in a chair at a desk just to keep warm. This week is filled with curling days.
The girl went to this magical place called Wal Mart and found a new game for me. I like to call it my porcupine game. I gnawed it and chewed it, pulled out the fluff and turned it inside out. Now it looks like a funny football.
The boy and the girl went to a Greek festival yesterday and brought home a novelty flying disc for me and one for Pipey. Pipey got angry about hers but wagged while she growled about it. I learned how to make a frisbee game and I even caught it in my mouth a couple times. Who knew plastic could be so much fun?
Of course, I had to take a nap right after. The game was really tiring.
The boy and the girl have worked from home a bit more recently. This means I have access to my office. Of course, it doesn't mean I have more access to the computer. I fell asleep waiting for my turn so I could blog.
It's summertime. This means kids are home from school, the fan is in the window and the neighbors are moving around again. This means I have to bark. And bark. And bark. It's hard to keep up because there's so much barking to do.
When I was a tiny dog, the girl used to put sweaters on me so I would stay warm. I didn't mind that so much. What I mind is when the boy puts his big smelly t-shirts on me and I have to wriggle out of them before I go and try to bite him. At least trying to bite him is fun.
It's finally cool enough for games! I found a couple great games in some stuff the girl had for a yard sale. Both games were white and red, but they're now not so white. I got the girl to make an elephant ear game with me. I never realized elephant ears were so small.
This week has been really hot. I am not pleased. We've done little more than lounge around the house because it's too hot to do anything else. I'm ready for it to cool down so I can get back to my games.
The girl brought me home a new hectapus. I thought it was an octopus at first but then I noticed that it had five legs instead of eight. I decided to rip out his eyes so the dangling fluff would kind of make three more legs.
The boy got some marshmallow bunnies to share with me and Pipey. The marshmallow bunnies make me nervous. Are they supposed to be candy or real food? Are you supposed to eat them immediately or save them for later? How long do they keep? Are they supposed to be crusty on the outside? This food is just too complicated.
